To replace the old Volvo Penta TAMD40A engines in this Searanger 38, it has been decided to use Solé SM-103 marine engines. The repowering of this boat has been carried out in Sweden by the official distributor Diesel Power AB.
The SM-103 model is mounted on a Mitsubishi 6-cylinder 4996 cc engine block, developing a power of 103 hp at 2500 rpm. It is naturally aspirated and mechanically injected. This engine offers durability, low vibration and reliability, and can withstand continuous service. Ideal for fishing boats with displacement or semi-displacement hulls.
