Introducing a different and singular project carried out in Croatia, by the hand of the official Solé distributor in the country, Dang.
This is the SAR1 rescue ship, built by the Iskra Shipyard.
This vessel is intended for emergency medical interventions at sea and is specially designed to be practically unsinkable.
Thanks to its structure and design, the SAR1 resists free fall from a height of two meters or bow impacts at a speed of up to 4 knots.
Another spectacular feature is its independence and resistance to a possible overturn since it returns to its initial position after turning 180º laterally.
Therefore, for the motorization and electrical supply equipment of this boat, it was necessary to have reliable equipment capable of satisfying the high demands of use.
For this reason, the Dang technical team offered Solé generator sets. Specifically, a 25 GTC was installed, with 24.3 kVA at 1500 rpm.
Here you can see images and the incredible video taken during one of the test sessions in the water last February. Iskra Shipyard CEO Mr. Ales Ekar came on board and sat in the cockpit to demonstrate the high reliability and safety of the SAR1.
