Sol\u00e9 Diesel generating sets are the ideal choice for vessels with constant electricity supply needs. Available with a soundproof enclosure and a DNV Type Approval certification.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

We present this project carried out in Algeciras by our installation service in the area, El\u00edas Blanco S.L.<\/a><\/p>\r\n\r\n

On this occasion, the vessel is a Maritime Rescue patrol boat, which needed sets capable of constantly generating power in order to supply the auxiliary equipment on board. Finally, it was decided to proceed with the installation of two of our 10 GSC<\/a> generator sets.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

The 10 GSC<\/a> is a single-phase generator set, built with a 3-cylinder Mitsubishi block. It provides a power output of 9.40 kVA and is a perfect fit for this type of planning hulled vessel which demands high levels of electrical power. In addition, the cabin version was chosen for calm and quiet sailing.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

In addition to the generator, several installation kits and additional accessory packs<\/a> were added:<\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u2022 Anti-condensation kit, which eliminates condensation on the alternator and helps prevent possible electrical problems during ignition, which could be caused by moisture.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u2022 An amperometric kit, which allows an adequate current and power reading during the operation of the generator.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u2022 A free mass kit, especially suitable for aluminium boats or other electrically conductive hulls, in order to avoid galvanic corrosion.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u2022 Anti-siphon system, with metal siphon and anti-siphon, for greater safety against water surges.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u2022 Water exhaust system, with gooseneck and professional water trap, also key parts to prevent water ingress into the engine.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u2022 Oil system, incorporating an oil\/water separator filter, which protects the engine from dirt, algae, and other debris.<\/p>\r\n\r\n
