Our official distributor in Bulgaria, Techzon, carried out this retrofit, replacing the old Volvo Penta MD7A engine with the sturdy and reliable MINI-17 marine engine from the MINI range of Solé marine engines.
The RISOR 23 vessel, constructed with fiberglass, boasts a length of 7 meters and a displacement of 1900 kg. Thanks to its new Solé engine, it now enjoys a significant power boost and improved performance.
The MINI-17 is a dependable and easily maintainable marine engine. It is mounted on a Mitsubishi engine block, with a displacement of 635 cc and a twin-cylinder configuration. Moreover, its single-piece heat exchanger, without welds, minimizes the risk of leaks, while its oversized seawater pump ensures a constant flow for engine cooling.
Specially designed for sailboats and small fishing vessels, the MINI-17 perfectly fits into the limited engine space available on the RISOR 23. Additionally, it is compatible with multiple kits that facilitate the boat engine replacement, cutting down assembly costs, making it a cost-effective and efficient choice.
