Description
Flexible couplings are made of hard but elastic polyurethane and are able to withstand any temporary engine/shaft misalignment. It is provided with the bolts and nuts needed for installation. (FC = power hp x 100 rpm on shaft). Our engine has an SMI-R3 (ØD=63.5) gearbox, so we look in the catalogue for a coupling that fits the gearbox flange’s. We choose the 40025100 and determine its admissible power P. Note: If it is assembled with the TM-93 gearbox, it is necessary to add the reference 40040101 to mount it.
