Inboard diesel engines for boats.
In this re-powering of the Viksund 25 in Sweden by Diesel Power AB, a Volvo Penta MD2 has been replaced by a Solé MINI-33 marine diesel engine.
The MINI-33 model is mounted on a 3-cylinder Mitsubishi engine block and marinised by Solé. The engine is mechanical injection, naturally aspirated, 1318 cc and provides an output of 31 hp at 3000 rpm. The advantages of this engine are: compact size, high durability, low fuel consumption, multiple possible configurations and a variety of adaptation kits. Furthermore it complies with RCD II and BSO II.
Due to the conical shape of the stern of this boat, new rear legs have been manufactured to fix the engine to the elastic engine mount.
